AROUND 25 KG GOLD AND FOUR IMMOVABLE PROPERTIES WORTH CRORES FOUND DURING FURTHER SEARCHES IN CONNECTION WITH A CASE OF CONMEN POSING AS CBI SENIOR OFFICERS.

The Central Bureau of Investigation had registered a case on 20.08.2011 in its Mumbai Branch against two fake people on the allegation that they have duped a film personality by impersonating as SP, CBI, New Delhi. Information also exists that the said two persons had also duped many Businessmen/Corporate houses/ Builders in Mumbai and had made crores of rupees, by posing as CBI Officers, for settling various deals on their behalf.

It further revealed during the investigation that the money collected by duping/ cheating the various businessmen, were invested in the purchase of real estate / gold/ investment in shares at Panipat, through another person( a resident of Old Housing Board Colony, Panipat). This person is absconding and his present whereabouts is not known to CBI. This absconding accused has one plot at Ansal City & one shop at Panipat and another shop at Panipat(under construction).

The Panipat based conman, arrested earlier, used to operate the Lockers at one of the branches of IDBI Bank at Panipat in the name of another person. Huge quantity of gold ornaments/jewellery/ bars were traced in this locker weighing about 25 Kgs, alledgedly invested out of the cheated money. Till date CBI has identified 4 properties in the name of the con man & in the name of his family members.

CBI has announced a Cash reward of Rs.50,000/-(Rs.Fifty thousand) for the absconding accused. Photograph of the accused is enclosed.

APPEAL

An Appeal is made to the general public, those who have been cheated/duped by the duo of Sri Ashwini Kr. Sharma & Rajesh Ranjan ( Photographs enclosed), posing themselves as CBI Officers, for settlement of deals, to come forward and register complaints with the CBI, ACB, Mumbai branch. The CBI, ACB, Mumbai branch had already detected /located various properties along with huge Cash & Gold Ornaments, which were made as an investment from the Cheated / duped amount by Sri Ashwini Kr. Sharma mostly from illegal transaction, available at Panipat, his hometown , and the same if proved, can also be returned to the person cheated by the said by the duo of Sri Ashwini Kr. Sharma & Rajesh Ranjan, during the recent past, through process of law.

An appeal is also made to the general Public that any person, who would give information about Shri Anirudh Agarwal of Panipat whose photograph is available here, would be rewarded with a Cash amount of Rs 50,000/-.
