CBI REGISTERS A CASE AGAINST FORMER PRESIDENT DENTAL COUNCIL OF INDIA FOR ALLEGEDLY AMASSING DISPROPORTIONATE ASSETS

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against former President, Dental Council of India, New Delhi for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income during the period 01.04.2005 to 31.03.2009.

Searches were conducted today at six places in New Delhi. During the searches, it was found that the accused has made huge investments in properties which include a palatial house at Gulmohar Park; four shops at Lajpat Nagar and a farmhouse at Chawla (near Najafgarh) all in New Delhi.

Further investigation is in progress.
