CBI ARRESTS A BRANCH MANAGER OF REGIONAL GRAMIN BANK FOR ACCEPTING A BRIBE OF Rs. 50,000/-

            The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Branch Manager of Regional Gramin Bank, Samastipur (Bihar) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 50,000/- from the complainant.

 

            The complainant had alleged in the complaint that a loan was sanctioned to him under Prime Minister Rojgar Yojna. The Branch Manager of Bank has called the complainant and demanded a bribe of Rs. 70,000/- from him for withdrawal of sanctioned loan.

 

            The CBI laid a trap and the accused was caught red-handed while demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs. 50,000/- from the complainant.

 

            The arrested accused is being produced today in the Designated Court.
