CBI ARRESTS TWO PERSONS INCLUDING ITS ASI IN AN ALLEGED BRIBERY CASE

            The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested two persons including its Assistant Sub Inspector for allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs. Two Lakh.

 

            It was alleged that officials probing the Sushil Kumar Pathak Murder Case of Chhastisgarh had demanded a bribe in connection with case.  CBI registered a case U/s 7 of PC Act, 1988 and U/s 120-B IPC against an ASI and an Investigating Officer of CBI in connection with the Sushil Kumar Pathak Murder Case.

 

            A trap was laid by CBI in Bilaspur (Chhatisgarh) wherein the ASI allegedly received bribe money amounting to Rs.Two Lakh from the complainant. The ASI and another private person have been arrested.

 

            Further investigation is continuing.
