CBI ARRESTS A PRINCIPAL OF KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA IN A BRIBERY CASE

            The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Eluru(Andhra Pradesh) for demanding a bribe of Rs.5000/- from the complainant for releasing his salary for the month of August, 2012 and for taking him back as Teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Eluru (Andhra Pradesh) on contract basis.

 

            It was alleged in the complaint that the complainant was working as Primary Teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Eluru on contract basis for the last one year. The Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Eluru asked him to pay an amount of Rs.6000/- as bribe for releasing his salary for the month of August, 2012 and for taking him back as Teacher in KV, Eluru on contract basis. When the complainant requested the Principal to reduce the bribe amount, the Principal, KV, Eluru reduced the bribe amount and instructed him to pay Rs.5000/-

 

            A trap was laid and the accused was caught red handed while demanding & accepting a bribe amount of Rs.5000/- from the complainant.

 

            Further investigation in the cases is continuing.
