CBI ARRESTS THREE PERSONS FOR SMUGGLING & TRAFFICKING OF FAKE INDIAN CURRENCY NOTES (FICN)

            The Central Bureau of Investigation has today arrested three persons in connection with smuggling and trafficking of Fake Indian Currency Notes(FICN) worth Rs.8 lakh at Railway Station, Lucknow. Out of these, two accused are residents of Distt. Rampur(UP) and one accused of Distt. Moradabad(UP). The seized FICNs are in the denomination of Rs.1000 and Rs.500. A regular case has been registered U/s 489-B, 489-C of Indian Penal Code.

 

            Further investigation is continuing.
