CBI FILES A CHARGESHEET AGAINST EX-CHIEF MINISTER OF JHARKHAND AND HIS ASSOCIATE IN A DISPROPORTIONATE ASSETS CASE

            The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a chargesheet against Ex-Chief Minister of Jharkhand in the Court of Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. His associate has also been chargesheeted along with him for abetting the offence.

 

            The assets and expenditure of Ex-Chief Minister have been found to be disproportionate to the tune of approx. Rs.8.42 crores.

 

            The public is reminded that the above findings are based on the investigation done by CBI and evidence collected by it. Under the Indian Law, the accused are presumed to be innocent till their guilt is finally established after a fair trial.
