CBI REGISTERS A CASE AGAINST DEPUTY CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER OF ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES AND OTHERS RELATING TO ALLEGED IRREGULARITIES & CHEATING IN THE TENDER FOR PROVIDING SECURITY SERVICES AT AIIMS

            The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case under section 120-B,420, 468,471 IPC and 13 (2) r/w 13(1) d of PC Act against Deputy Chief Security Officer, All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS), New Delhi; Managing Director of a Private Company based at Delhi and others, on allegations relating to irregularities and cheating in the tender for providing security services at AIIMS, involving a loss of around Rs. one crore to Govt. exchequer.

 

            Searches were conducted today at four places i.e. house & office of Dy. Chief Security Officer at AIIMS complex and at the house & office of MD of Private Company at Janakpuri, New Delhi. During the searches, incriminating documents relating to the allegations in the FIR of the case have been recovered.

 

            Further investigation is continuing.
