CBI ANNOUNCES A REWARD OF RS.TEN LAKH FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION REGARDING WHEREABOUTS OF SHRI NAJEEB AHMED, A STUDENT OF JAWAHARLAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY

            The Central Bureau of Investigation has announced a reward of Rs.10 Lakh to the general public for providing information regarding the whereabouts of Shri Najeeb Ahmed , resident of House No.138, Vedontola, Badaun (Uttar Pradesh), aged 27 years, height 5’10”, who is missing from Delhi since 15.10.2016. He was studying in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and staying at Mahi Hostel, JNU. The information regarding Shri Najeeb Ahmed can be given to the CBI over telephone/mobile Nos.24368641, 24368638, 24368634, 9650394796 and 9650394791.

            CBI had registered a case U/s 365 of IPC on 2.6.2017 on the orders of Delhi High Court dated 16.05.2017 and taken up the investigation of FIR No.523/2016 which was earlier registered at Police Station Vasant Kunj (North), Delhi relating tomissing of Shri Najeeb Ahmed.

            Further investigation is continuing.
