Central Bureau of Investigation, Special
Crime Region-III, New Delhi had investigated Satyendra Dubey Murder
Case and charge-sheeted 3 accused persons including Mantu Kumar
s/o Sh. Lachhu Singh, R/o Village Katari, PS: Chandoti, Distt. Gaya
Bihar who had shot dead Sh. Satyendra Dubey on 27.11.2003.
Presently, the case is
pending trial in the court of Addl. Distt. & Session Judge, Patna at
the stage of prosecution evidence and the last date of hearing was
13.09.2005. On 13.09.2005 all the three accused were brought to Patna
court from Beur jail by the escort of Bihar Police. While the accused
were being taken to the court from the court lock up, accused Mantu
Kumar escaped from the police custody.
The Director General of
Police, Bihar Patna as well as other concerned Distt. SsP of Bihar
have been requested to make all out efforts to apprehend the aforesaid
accused. The Director, CBI has also announced a cash reward of Rs.
1 Lakh for the apprehension of the said accused.
